Warm Fuzzies

Spring has finally sprung and I'm loving the color it brings with it.  The green grass and blooming trees make it difficult not to like spring.  Although, I was concerned that we were moving right from winter to summer when we had the 80 degree weather a few weeks ago.  Thank goodness the warmth didn't stick around too long because we've had the chance to enjoy our wonderful fireplace.  We've never lived in a home with a fireplace and I absolutely love it!  It adds an element to our home that makes it all the more charming.
I had to include a few pictures for you to see.  It's amazing how you can't really feel the warmth pouring off of the fire, but the picture itself has a certain warmth to it...makes me feel warm and fuzzy.  And that got me thinking about all the things that give me warm fuzzies, kinda like singing that song, "My Favorite Things".  And so I've included a few of my favorite things.

Puppies...I love puppies!  Puppies love you unconditionally.  How can you not love a puppy?!  Check out these eyes...pitiful...pathetic...this puppy can get away with anything when she looks at me like this.  I'm a sucker for puppy eyes.  Our little puppies are growing like weeds and it's hard to believe they are almost 3 months old!  We have 2 sold already and now we just need 4 more good homes.  Until then, I'll keep on loving up on them.  Any takers???

My nieces and nephew are some of my favorite people!  They make my life so much happier just by their smiles and their hugs.  I love this picture of Jamie and Jessie.  Ohhh, it makes my ovaries sing and that burning desire to see my husband be a daddy just oozes from within when I look at this picture.  It's a joy to watch him interact with the kids and see their delight when he is there.

I love Elianna's laugh and the way her whole body exudes happiness...it's infectious!

I love to see Isaac's smile and to hear him laugh and talk.  I babysat for Maegan recently and when I got upstairs after they both woke up that morning, Isaac's first words to me were, "Cha-mie?"  Poor guy just wanted to see his uncle.  When I asked him what he had planned for the day and what he wanted to do, he replied with, "Cha-mie".  How do you explain to a 2 1/2 year old that Uncle Jamie is at work today and we live too far away to go and see him?

This pout...I love this pout!  This girl could win a pouting contest with Eore.

I love this thoughtful face.

I love her eyes!

The smile, the pigtails and that tiny little hand all have me wrapped around her itty, bitty little finger.  My in-laws came down this past week and brought with them some tiny visitors.  I was up in the office at the time and I soon heard some little footsteps on the stairs.  When I peeked around the corner she was concentrating on coming up the stairs and when she looked up and saw me...it's like magic!  I love to hear her say, "Cess", with such enthusiasm.  Rachel, I hope your always this happy to spend time with your Auntie, cause I sure do love spending time with you.

I love the fly-away hair and sparkle in her eyes!

The list of favorite's is never-ending with me and I think it's good to stop sometimes and think about all the things we love because it makes me so grateful for the blessings I've been given that I don't want to think about all the things I don't have.  So what are some of YOUR favorite things?
